Aroid Plant Food delivers steady nutrition for leafy favourites grown in LECA, water, passive hydro, or chunky bark mixes. Airy growing setups give roots room to breathe, but inert media supply few nutrients of their own. So, this formula provides nitrate-based nitrogen, chelated micronutrients, calcium, and magnesium to meet those needs.

Plants can’t use urea nitrogen until microbes convert it. In fact, water and LECA contain little of the microbial activity that helps this process in potting mix. By leaving urea out, this feed supplies nitrate-based nitrogen without relying on that breakdown.

Use it for Monstera, Philodendron, Anthurium, and Syngonium in these growing setups. For example, it makes a useful companion for Monstera deliciosa ‘Thai Constellation’ or Philodendron Paraiso Verde when you grow them in suitable media.

Its NPK ratio of 4.5–1–3 combines nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, with relatively low phosphorus. Furthermore, the formula also contains 3.08% calcium and 0.95% magnesium, supplying essential nutrients that inert media lack.

Calcium supports developing plant tissues, while magnesium supports chlorophyll production. In addition, chelated trace elements help keep micronutrients available for uptake, supporting healthy leaf development and colour.

Choose your fertiliser around your growing medium. Indoor Plant Food suits plants in regular potting mix, while this formula is designed for water and chunky, low-nutrient setups.

Add 2ml per litre of water every second watering. Alternatively, for water or passive hydro, use 1ml per litre.

One 100ml bottle makes 50 litres of feed at the standard dilution, or 100 litres at the lower rate. As a result, measure each dose carefully to keep your routine consistent.
