Field Maple is one of Europe’s most traditional hedging trees, valued for its soft seasonal beauty, resilience, and ability to create a dense, structured natural screen. Supplied bare-rooted during dormancy, these young plants establish quickly through the cooler months, making winter the ideal time for planting.

Unlike many fast-growing hedges that can feel harsh or overly formal, Field Maple brings a softer, more natural character to the landscape. Its small, lobed leaves emerge fresh green in spring, deepen through summer, and turn warm, buttery yellow in autumn before falling into winter dormancy.
