Flowers have velvety colours and a sweet fragrance. The plant is a nervine and muscle relaxant. Cultivation: Native to south Europe. Prefers well-drained alkaline soils in an open, sunny position. Yellowish-orange flowers in spring. Drought and frost tolerant. Herbaceous perennial, growing to 0.6m x 0.5m.
